Central Region 55+ Summer Games go Aug. 26 in Midland

MIDLAND – The Central Region 55+ Summer Games will take place next week in Midland. The Aug. 26 event will include tennis, 5-pin bowling, lawn bowling, bridge, pickleball, darts and golf.
Venues at which athletes will compete include the YMCA, Midland Golf and Country Club, Bayshore Lanes, and the Midland and District Lawn Bowling Club.
The games will conclude with a dance at the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. Dance tickets are $10 at the door or in advance at the customer service desk.
